When I got my truck the speedo cable was squeaky. It got worse the faster I drove. The truck only has 63k on it so it must be old dried up lube inside. A new cable is $100+ tax so I came up with a way to fix mine.   This works on SQs too. Many cars have this thread pattern for the speedo cable.     There is no way to take the cable apart to lube it. Piercing with a needle also didn't work. Suspending it and trying to get WD40 or some other lube to trickle down inside was not a great idea.

Idk if anybody else has been having this problem, but when I get on this site I usually click the view new content up in the top right corner first to see whats new here. For the last day or two it will not show anything, it just says no new content. I find that hard to believe cause even the slowest and crappiest forum I visit has at least a page of new content every other day or so.
