The car is a 89 Conquest TSI non SHP red with black leather and 5spd. It has 153,000 miles on the body and 100k on the motor which has a non jet head, and roller rockers. It has a 15 lbs flywheel and stage 4 clutch good for 500hp from Competion Clutch installed with only 10 miles on them. I also just installed a new battery, 8mm wire, cap and rotor, and a bosch red ignition coil. I also have a *DM polished 4 inch intercooler with 1 1/4 inch pipes, polished 1 1/4 inch OVC pipe, Greddy BOV, and a 53mm ported and polished TB and Intake combo not installed. The car is in good shape inside and out it just needs some tlc. I have pictures, but could not get them to load so if interested let me know and I can send some. $3500 obo. Call Joe 443-617-1371.

I was wondering if I could fit 15X8 and 15X10 american AR61 OUTLAW I rims on my 89 quest and If so what bs would I need?
-
The first quest is a 89 tsi 5spd, red with black leather. The body has 167275 miles on it and the motor has around 100k miles. I bought the motor from someone on here who did a engine swap. The motor has a non jet head and roller rockers. I have installed a 15 lbs flywheel and a stage 4 clutch good for 500hp from Competition Clutches. I have a few performance parts that have not been installed yet. Fisrt is a ported 52mm tb and intake package and new injectors from Lower Shores performance. Second is a 1 1/4" polished ovc with a greddy BOV, 1 1/4" intercoller piping kit and a 4" intercolleer form *DM. The paint and leather are in good shape and car runs and drives good. The second quest is a 89 tsi shp 5spd, fiji blue with black leather. It has a little rust and a dent on the driver side door and rear quarter pannel. The car is also missing all the body parts from the front end. The motor blew a gasket so the head is off in the trunk. $4500 obo for both. I can't get the pictures to load so if you want pictures or have a questions call Joe @ 443-617-1371 or e-mail me at JoeStef79@live.com.

I have an 89 quest that I am fixing up and I want to change the trans fluid, but I don't know what kind to get. I went to Pep Boys and they had 2 different kinds and didn't know which one for me to use.

I was thinking of getting the *DM 2 1/4" Hard Pipe and AHP kit, but he isn't selling the couplers anymore so does anyone know what couplers I would need? Also what do you do with the wires that run to the air can after you remove it?

I just recently bought an 89 quest that I am restoring and I was wondering if they sell a conversion kit for our a/c systems to run on the new stuff?

Looking for some 16X9 shp rims.

Can I fit a set of M/T ET streets or Toyo Proxes R888 255/50R16 on my rear 16X9 shp rims?

I just finished putting the motor in my 89 quest last weekend and had it up and running good and strong on Tue. Tonight (Sat) I went out to start it up and nothing. I don't even get a click like it is trying to turn over. The only thing I do get is headlights and interior lights. I checked all the grounds and they look good, but the fuses are old so I am going to get some new ones The clock stays on and does not turn off even when I turn the car off so I was wondering if that could be a problem. The battery is brand new so I don't know if the clock killed the battery in 4 days. Thanks Joe

I checked all the grounds and they look good. The fuses are old so I am going to get some new ones. Is the clock supposed to stay on at all times because mine does even with the car off and I was wondering if it could have killed the battery in 4 days?

I don't even get a click like it is trying to turn over. The only thing I do get is headlights and dash lights, but no map lights. The clock stays on and does not turn off even when I turn the car off and it was still on when I tried to start it up. The battery is brand new so I don't know if the clock killed the battery in 3 days. Thanks Joe

I was looking to get a new turbo and I was wondering if anyone has bought any turbos from Forced Performance? They have a 18g for 795.

I just bought an 89 quest that runs and is in great shape inside and out, but not so good underneath. Who on here does restoraions on these cars so I can see about getting it fixed?

Is the EvoIII Turbo a direct bolt on for an 89 quest?
