strange problem, really need help
By bha280,
So, from what I can tell, I'm having an electrical issue. The thing is, it only caused problems when I'm moving; I'm talking even barely moving. When I'm in gear, the instant I start raising the clutch the car dies. It's been doing this for a week but just today got so bad I couldn't get out of my driveway. Now I'm looking at the parts locator manual, and I see there should have been a gasket there. Makes me wonder if there's a gasket on my oil pan, or just RTV there too. Do these seal okay with just RTV? Is black "maximum oil resistance" the best, or is something like blue "gasket maker" better?
