Now that I'm living near the ocean I want to take my wife fishing. The problem is most of my fishing has been done on lakes. I've been on charter ocean boats with my father but we used his gear and the bait provided on the boat.   I brought 2 rods with me. Both have spinning reels with 12lb line.
