Oil cooler clean out
By tsi_tom,
I am flushing my oil cooler and I am having a hard time getting it cleaned out of what looks to be a ton of bearing material. I have used kerosene and 120 PSI air which makes quite a mess in the garage. I soaked the cooler in kerosene overnight twice but still there is sizeable flakes coming out. I switched to boiling hot water and blew out the cooler. Still there is metal flakes coming from the cooler. Is it possible to get the oil cooler factory clean when the motor eats a bearing and the oil
