In my '88 TSi, I get heat out of the defrost vents and the floor vents, but not the dash. What would cause this?

ok guys time to sale some extra parts im not using rebulit low mileage long block it was run 9k when pulled for a v8 swap all new gaskets installed has arp head studs bsek balanced rotating assembly forged internals the crank pulley you see on the motor is being sold separate please note i dont want to ship this motor but if your a state or two away ill meet you half way if you want to make the trip to indiana ill lower the price.12a turbo worked good for me i pulled it to install my 19c i cant

If posted in the wrong section mods please move.   I was looking into getting some better performing aftermarket fuel injectors since mine may be going out. But before switching, i wont be able to tune once i get these injectors and i know injector lag time can play a role in a motor runnung at optimal performance. I was either thinking of going with either the stock sizes or slightly larger since i will be upgrading to a 17c turbo in the future. So i would like to know the lag time on the stock
