I jus got my 88 starion out of the garage.installed new fuel pump and its working fine.problem is the car starts but then dies.i took off the intake intercooler hose by the injectors off & covered the hole with my hand while my dad started the engine.here is where the problem is...the engine starts,rev rpm jus fine,but once I uncover the intercooler it dies.any ideas? I poured some gas inside the intercooler it ran for about 10 sec then died.

Loaned out my manuals and wouldn't you know. Search not being incredibly helpful to me today either. Parked car the other day running fine. Went to crank today and nothing. Happened to notice I wasn't getting tach while cranking so starting checking fusible links and normal culprits.   Anyways, coil getting power and everything looks good but no spark or ignition signal. Is there an easy way to check between the coil and ignition box for a problem. Could the dizzy possibly be the bad acto
