I'm still currently in auto body shop class and looking for a widebody roller so i can try and attempt the gullwing on a starion, I have completed 2 complete all over paint jobs in this class my 88 starion(pearl white tri-coat) and my 79 accord 2dr. Hey guys...Im getting pretty close to actually setting up my MS on my 87 TSI and I have a quick question..... Did any of you need to leave in the stock ECU for any reason... If you took it out, what things quit working....ie guages, cruise control, climate control,seat belts,etc... I know lots of things are interlocked with the ETACS unit, but Im not really clear on what interlocks with the ECU... Any input would be greatly appriciated...
