    Ilber sent this info to me.  The reply is direct from Redline and the answer is specific to our manual tranny cars.     Hello. I am   seeking  advice  on what  Redline  Manual Transmission  Oil,  which one  is  the best fit  for me? I  have an 88  Chrysler  conquest  with  freshly rebuilt  5 speed transmission and  ³race  prepared²  engine.  My service manual  suggests a  80w-90w  gear oil.  What is the equivalent to  it, MT90  or  redline  MTL? ______________

    How hard would it be to add a short set of instructions at the top of the Virtual Mechanic's board, or even better on the "Start New Topic" page for that board?  These instructions would inform the thread author to: 1) state the model year of their car 2) state the tranny type 3) list any mods on the car, including listing systems updated to later model year styles - e.g. 88 injection/ECU retrofitted to an 86, etc. 4) describe any recent work/updates/etc. done to the car just before the prob

    I have a stock 86tsi and I am rebuilding the bottom end of the motor I have all the exhaust off here is what I have done so far: hooned out all the exhaust ports of the manifold, gutted the pre cat, hooned out the turbo inlets and outlets just clean them up it has 115k what are some performance trick that can help it run faster ?
