Subs stopped working
By hey_obie,
I was given a pair of 8" bazooka bass tubes and a nakamichi amp. I bought an amp kit and an inline converter because i am leaving my stock radio.
I installed everything correctly and after a couple days they stopped working. I went back and checked all my connections and they were still good.
Does anyone have a clue on what might have happened?
Is there a fuse that I might have blown? I took all the fuses out and checked them and they all look good but maybe there is a fuse somewhere
Fixing Rips in Leather Seats

By kev,
Ok I have two rips right at the seams on my 87 style burg drivers seat. Anyway to seal them up? If I pull tight enough I can close the gap, If I had some very strong glue it might stay. Anything in mind? I don't think I will be able to sew it or anything.
I have heard of a thing called "Shoe-gu" However can't find it anywhere.

compression ratio
By Boosted_One,
Going to a .060 over JE
What do you guys think of the compression ratio? I had 8:1's in and I I am leaning towards 7:1 now.
My head was milled twice and the block was decked once so far.
Thanks
SDS comments on my damage and fuel line size
By Boosted_One,
Hi,
The damage is consistent with pre-ignition or detonation. It likely
melted under boost. can't melt on decel as the engine makes no power and
the fuel cut under vacuum cuts off all fuel- no fuel-no combustion-no
heat, The air coming in actually cools everything down super quick.
Caused by too much boost, too lean, not high enough fuel octane, too
much timing, plugs to hot on the heat range. If the fuel pressure holds
under boost at high rpm and boost and duty cycle is less than 90%
