Valve Seat Grinding 101

Here are some tips that you can ask your machinist about, to see if he does it like this, or has a good way to increase flow, cheap.
First, a 5 angle valve job really helps.
1. The seat has 5 different angles, tapers, and radiuses on this type of grind.
 a) A 15 Deg outer cut, outside the the seat in the chamber area. This is called unshrouding the valve. That helps trememndously, to open up the area directly around the seat, for maximum flow. Jet-Valve heads are limited moreso, as to how m

How much difference is there in an aircan with paper filter and modded can with K/N filter? Is it a difference you can feel ?
I have a modded can but have not installed it yet. I just put the K/N in the stock can
because I was alittle lazy.

Thoughts on the 4g63 engine in the quest

I am interested in doing this conversion. Let me know the pros and cons and the details on what and how to do it.
This will be a 1 yr deliverable. When I get the information I will buy the engine and work on it outside the car. once it is all done I will drop her in!

The 6g72 twin turbo will go in a quest using this combination: Vr4 power plant, Ram 50 or mighty max tranny '90 or up V-6 Model (It uses the SOHC version of the 6G) and the motor and tranny mounts off of the Max. Only possible problem, is you might get a Check Engine light when the Traction Control, AWD and auto spoiler are not hooked up to the VR-4 ECU. Tell me what you think.
