  4. DO not buy anything from this person on ebay !! I won an auction for the dash hood that sits on top of the instrument cluster for $4.00 plus shipping. He described it as 'like new' 'mint' Here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2415262539 He didnt ship it till over 1 week after I paid for it with paypal. When I finally got it it had duct tape sticky residue on it, faded spots and a small chunk missing on top. It also had cracks on the inside plastic. I included $1.30 for insurance which he never added. He said he would refund my money if I shipped it back but why should I spent $7.00 to ship it and get $4.00 back. The guys name is Alex A. (according to ebay) from Leominster MA. The return address on the package says Owen R., same city. His email is Sublime525964@aol.com Sam

  10. If you have any codes stored in the ECU it will flash a number of times to indicate which code it is. The list of codes is in the service manual ;D Sam
  11. Here is a picture an LED that I connected to the diagnostic plug in the glove box. I chose that spot because when your driving its not in your face. All you need to do is take a quick glance down at it and if its not flashing your OK. http://www.geocities.com/blue_88_tsi/diag1.txt http://www.geocities.com/blue_88_tsi/diag2.txt Sam
