    Auto Seat Belts Limit Switches

    JAinsworth
    By JAinsworth,
These switches can be cleaned and the belts will normally work afterwards. The front one is located behind the A-pillar cover, the back one behind the side cover next to the rear seat. You can take them out, use electrical cleaner on the pieces, di-electric grease, and re-assemble. Here are a few pics:   The front connector:   http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/2137/seatbeltlimitswitch3tk6.jpg   The pieces to take out and clean up:   http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/4564/seatbeltlimitswitch2

Nothing too complicated, although I did have a little trouble removing the assembly from the knuckle. It had rusted, but soaking it in PB Blaster for a few hour

I have a Pioneer D5500MP head unit already, but I still need speakers, sub(s) and an amp. I am open to all suggestions because I don't know what is good or bad when it comes to this.   I wa
