Is there anyone near or driving distance of San Antonio, Tx that could help me with this mpi project. Â I took my car to my friends shop alsmost a year ago and still haven't seen any realy progress on my car. Â I had a custom intake made, bought a tec 3, throttle body etc etc. Â So far he has only cleared up the intake side of the engine bay and the car is sitting back outside of the shop. Â I am not trying to rag on my friend in any way in fact everything I have bought he has given to me at cos

well my car still has an idle problem that i cannot figure out. it has to be in the wiring harness( a short, melted wire or a relay) instead of paying a shop or the dealer 100's of dollars to fix this old tbi setup i wanna upgrade to mpi. my question is this. When you do so do you eliminate the use of the vehicles ecu and mas? i'm thinking about the hurricane 4 set up. do you just not use the vehicles wiring harness? and just tap into the oxygen sensor. Will this hopefully solve my idle problem

Okay, I apologize in advance for not posting this in the 'how-to' or w/e appropriate place it should be.... but....
My headlights have NEVER failed to retract (go to sleep).
However, I was playing a joke on my buddy who has a Daytona (notorious for stuck headlight actuators) and I pressed my 'lights-up' (top-most right) button, and shut the car off.
Well now, my lights won't retract on their own!!! But alas, I have found a temporary fix.
