this is just for those starting to piece their setups together   so far I've been able to figure   converted MPI intake manifold throttle body fuel rail/injectors ecu wiring harness?   what else are the minimum/necessary requirements?

Been looking at avenues for removing crap under the hood of my MPI car, and had a thought. IF you run a fuel only MPI computer and retain stock ignition, can the blue/white wire from the negative side of the coil simply be grounded out? That would take the stock ECU and ignitor completely out of the loop and make ignition timing entirely controlled by the mechanical advance inside the distributor and vacumn advance. Not 56K friendly!   After seeing alot of success stories from others, I have decided to get back on the project. This is about ten hours of work fabbing the plate and removing unneccessary webbing on the intake. I don't have a time frame of how long it's going to take to finish this as I'm on a tight budget. I'm just doing things slowly being the less costly thing first.   Total money spent: $0 Total man hour: 10hr   What ya think? If there is anything you see that need perfected, let me know,
