Bosch 500 fuel pump maybe just went, looking for a replacement one or good equivalent

By ptracy26,
Been 4 years in a MPI build, 1 shop had it for 2.5 years another for 6 months, now I'm on it for a year debugging. Think I'm close, but weeks back after cranking to get it turned over, I heard a loud winding noise, and gas we slighly pouring out of the back or at the bottom of the tank. Now no fuel pressure, was only advised it probably got clogged and it burnt out.
I did get it many years back from TopEnd, I see they are still there but don't know if they have them (290.00). Any r
Hood release cable
By 03CL55AMG,
Well my fairly new ...not used very much hood release cable broke, luckily when I replaced this one ,I tied some wire to the latch as a back-up. its a PITA when its closed and no cable to pull. I purchased my last one from DADS...Engine Machine Service...I went to there website and there were some categories to click on, but nothing there....does anybody know if DAD is still in business or a reliable replacement for our hood release cables. thanks.

Intermitted back up lights
By madmanperez,
Before I do this I need to ask a stupid question. But first, from what I've read the backup lights are controlled by a switch screw into the transmission. Its's said to comprised of a spring and a little steel ball I should not lose . Also need to mention the I've checked the electrical connections and all are good. Just no signal from the switch.
Now the question. Will removing this switch (since it's screwed into the trany) dump the transmission fluid?
