Well to start I learned a lesson the hard way when I built my engine I matched up o ring at napa for my oil pump pickup tube well it failed! My question is this what way do you guys think is best to replace it I have arp mains so they have to be removed to remove pickup or should I remove oil pump ? And install o ring I already got a brand new o ring from dad and a gasket.

Got a set of 88 shp struts with 88k on them. They work great and came out of a running car. They don't leak at all and are 100 percent fully functional.   Price is 350$ picked up 02809 Bristol ri.

It looks like I might need rockers, shafts, cam, and maybe more. Might consider a used head too, but nothing too pricey.
