I've been having problems with my 83 starion that i believe may have something to do with fuel. Whenever i get on the gas quickly or even too hard the car begins backfiring and trying to die. ive recently changed out the fuel pump which seems to now allow me to rev higher before it begins to cut, i have also changed and cleaned out all the filters yet im still having the car sputter and cut out. I am 50% thru my microsquirt build. I have all of my wiring sketched out except the ignition wiring. I currently have a MSD6AL with 8910 tach adaptor running on the factory ignitor box. Can someone provide me a good link to data that shows how I can run either fuel only or spark control on the micro while retaining the 6al?

Hi guys, nice to be back.  I am looking for the vents that go either side of the transmission tunnel in the car (black interior), have attached a photo of the area that I mean. Some dope left them out when replacing the carpet in the car - and then helpfully lost them! Hopefully someone out there has a set they are willing to part with. Thanks in advance for any replies. J
