Is this cam acceptable?

I received this stock cam for the price of shipping, so no complaints. My questions would be: Would it be fine to install the c with these grooves on the non-lobe part? It is like this in each one. The lobes themselves look very nice. So I just got approved by the Arizona board for my independent practioner license and I decided to celebrate by finally ditching my old DD (97 Saturn SC1, manual windows, no A/C -makes the 105 degree days pretty rough, etc...) and pick up a new whip: http://i.imgur.com/0ak6Tp3.jpg Nice to have A/C again!
