How many active mods do we have here and are we allowed to ask questions and get answers ? ...just askin'

hey guys need some help. I removed the black catch can connected to my intake that goes to the valve cover and to the oil pan and I put a little filter on the valve cover. ok so my question is do I cap the other holes or leave them open. last thing is after I did this my check engine light went off and it flashed 7 times which is coolant sensor now was this just coincidence or are these two connected and now just not receiving enough air.

Hey, SQC enthusiast from way back. If anybody remembers me, I used to live on this forum. Long story short, I now have means and time to give my '89 Conquest full tear down and rotisserie restoration. The car is an all original rust free car, so I'm looking for a inner support that isn't a rusty junk or collision damaged. Air dam would be a nice addition, but I can do without.
