hey, i never got a clear answer to this question when i posted in someone elses thread, so here goes.   I know the stock system uses the VR pickup to determine engine speed, but are there any drawbacks to using this method?   I have tried MS2 on a hall sensor and i think it would be too much of a hassle to install one on my car. and If i can get away with VR then i can save myself a bunch of money and I don't have to have anything rigged up on the crank pulley or anything.
