Make sure you replace the throttle shaft seals, auto zone does not have them. When I did the rebuild on my 86, the shaft seals were dry/brittle. It's an easy rebuild.

They come up slowly but smoothly and one slows down about 3/4 of the way up. The ones on my 86 are stock and feels like I don't have any. Thanks for the info.
