for all those doing ss line conversions
tux posted a topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
http://www.hahnracecraft.com/hahn/parts/install.htm they have oil drain flanges that can be tapped, and will do SS braided lines for you the only things on there of interest to me were the flange and i FINALLY got some information on that stupid oil inlet's threading... after asking EVERYWHERE Oil Inlet Fitting, 12mm to –4 flare: These handy fittings allow you to use a standard -4 AN hose to supply oil to the turbo. Two different types are available. Both have the correct metric thread to install into your Mitsubishi turbocharger. Uses copper sealing washer as shown below. H TZ-8085: Oil Inlet Fitting, 12 x 1.25 thread, fits stock and upgrade TDO5/6 turbos in Eclipse, Talon, Laser, Galant and Lancer. so if anyone cares it's metric 12 x 1.25 threading! i couldn't find fittings through summit, and I really don't want a copper coloured fitting... anyone know where i can pickup a blue anondized one? now if only i can find out what the threading is on the oil filter plate!?! (anyone?!) -
oh scheisse... so i might need this... boo urns

Just upgraded my Megasquirt
tux replied to eeaston's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
eeaston, is there any chance that you could write up a faq for installing the edis into quest? i'm going to go the ms route, and possibly use it for spark also. if i don't, i'm going to sell my 6a and btm so i can get the msd6btm as one unit. i'm trying to clean up the mess in my engine bay if the ms spark control is in fact better, and relatively easy to use, i'm going that way thanks -

Megasquirt-n-EDIS Running :)
tux replied to eeaston's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
i can't wait to get my ms up and running. I'd love to use the EDIS portion of it... but i also would like to keep my msd6a and BTM in control moreso than an ECU... don't know why... maybe i'm lazy -
i just emailed a junkyard in sidney, found by using google. still waiting for it to be modded.. i may just pick it up when the wrx is back on the road and send it out to chad(?) i believe was doing it

FUEL INJECTOR GUIDE FOR MPI
tux replied to artinist's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
try subaru wrx injectors w/ the screens cut off? claims are 740cc/min -
i'd sell you my rebic III, simulator, sensors, fuellines and pipes with injectors if you want... although i will say it is a half --------------- way to get more fuel, and it isn't very reliable or tuneable
-
i had/have greddy rebic III and the piggyback simulator... waste of money for the 1000$+ it was (back a few years ago) i could have had mpi completed. that and i'd have saved hours of my time and quiet a few headaches would have been avoided don't wait your time... if your serious go mpi... however long that may take some people (me)

1G DSM ECU for G54b MPI?
tux replied to Pr4mnceMan's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
wouldn't you run into issues being that the 1g dsm is 2.0 liter and the displacement on the g54b is 2.6 liters? so wouldn't the 1g be setup to flow fuel 2.0 liter?
