I am 6'4". Not much leg room in back for other people not to mention trunk space. most people have some form of boom installed. with that, hard pressed for room to hold a full size suit case.

I am 6'1 and not a small guy either..I ran a Alpine PLT5 for the boom, I love that sub BTW..I have 2 small kids so strollers and other stuff was in there all the time..The trunk is bigger than you think..rear leg room was fine even with my 3 buddies in the car including my buddy Jack who is 6'7...

I would test drive one at least...Thats the only way to know for sure

EDIT: the guy in that video I showed is 6'6

look at these 3 vehicles and look at the evo. I think we can agree they and the evo are in different classes. I have driven a evo both 9 and X. sti as well. I dont think there are many if any enthusiast or tuner who haven't driven these cars. but an evo does not ride like a lex , benz or beamer. first and foremost they are luxery cars that have been or can be tuned for performance with comfort intact. The evo on the other hand is a performance car first and I dont think it can be made to ride any softer. then again who would want to soften the ride up on that. It was built for one thing and it does it well.

Get an older Jag then with a LS1 swap..Those are sweet and a bit of a sleeper too..Comfy as hell too

Heres a write up on it..

http://www.buyrcars.com/jag.htm

I've seen them. I actually got some of my info. for the tyclone from here. but that is not suitable. first it's 2dr, secondly it's not that nice looking to me. thirdly, that car is not known for it's handling. it's heavy and bulky. I admit it would be a sleeper. but a sleeper is not what I am looking to build. would you really choose that jag over the GS or the 5er?

The bimmer you ahve to be carefull they came with plastic water pumps that warp cylinder heads like crazy...atleast the 90's did

The lexus may be the way to go...it seems

If it were me i would do the Benz they are built so well its crazy...

I am liking the lex too. but to correct you, the 5er if chosen would under go a ls1 swap. I do know about the water pump. Recently did a top end rebuild on a e36 and it was required to hammer the old pump out due to them being pressed in. Ofcourse the blade was torn to s***.

I seriously think the GS would be the flavor for my sweet tooth. It will even take supra brakes with out any modding.

GS is ultimate. I don't know how you could go wrong with that car.

yeah. Unlike us here in the U.S., GS's, both first gen and 2nd gen have a large following. You got the VIP culture as well as drifters alike.

alot of aftermarket support

I really like the 5 ls1. I understand that your going for VIP as oppose to a evo/ 4dr compact(unlike a few posts). Although I am very much in love with the TT GS idea, there is no way it would be cheaper and more reliable than a LS swap. Both engines are easy to get parts for, but the LS is def cheaper. Design wise, the GS ages better against current new cars. The 5 seems dated against BMW's newer models. But its what ever your into. I'd love to have a 400+hp VIP sleeper... def with you on that one.

If you like to speed then forget about a 4 door sports car - if you get into a fatal accident with those high powered 4doors guess whos coming with you- the WHOLE family.

If you like to speed - buy a AC COBRA w/550 hp and be done with it thats my plan for the ones who like to dis people in their cars here in NY EVERYBODY thinks that benz and bimmer is the SHT! not me though

if i had the car i want i would fry people on the hour.
