89PalermoSHP
I went and picked up the cloth seats that were on ebay today and got to see whats left of the car. There are still some useable parts and I wanted to offer them up to anyone looking for anything. Ill have him get me a pic since I forgot a camera. Alot of the car is already gone... most of the interior, the engine, the wheels. A few things I saw that may be of interest are. -6 bolt axles/hubs...(pending) -Good radiator with both fans and full shoruds -Good windshield -Fenders didnt look too bad but had a few dents and minimal surface rust near the wells -The plastic inner fender guards were in good shape... I remember someone asking for these -The hood shields were in decent but not perfect condition -Brake calipers front/rear -Ignitor box -88-89ECU -Complete harness -Very nice black dash-shipping would be steep -AC unit looked very nice -Steering wheel looked ok but the center section was gone more stuff than I can think of at the moment, just ask and Ill direct your questions to the owner of the car Not that it needs to be said but there arent any 83 hoods, mudflaps, louvers, 8's/9's, you get the point... Here are the pics Steve sent me http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_001.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_002.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_003.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_004.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_005.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_011.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_012.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_014.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_015.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_016.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_017.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_018.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_019.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_020.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_021.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/conquest_022.jpg Edited March 11, 2009 by 89PalermoSHP

89PalermoSHP
What kind of condition are rear calipers and park brake mech. in? they appeared to be decent but I cant be positive they function... ill try to get more info
Big Al
Do you have the long bolts to hold the rear caliper on? I need at least 1 of those.
Technology
The slide bolts? If that's what you're talking about, ask him to make sure they aren't pitted from rust. New ones are available, but for ~'85 Nissan Sentra front brakes.
89PalermoSHP
Big Al, Im guessing you mean the slider pin? I think if the calipers still function it would be best to sell it whole. If it does not function, that would probably mean that pin is bad. I actually think I have a decent one.... lemme see here are the two I have left over(and the only two I have) Im not sure but I think they are for the rear because I didnt do my front calipers. BUT.... I did do them on my Nissan Pathfinder as well but I dont think I mixed those in with my Quest parts. You decide if its the right one or not. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/89PalermoSHP/pins.jpg
89PalermoSHP
For everyone else... Im in communication with the owner of this car about all of the parts that have been inquired about. Keep in mind this car is about 70 miles from me so I cant, unfortunatly, run out and check on things. Im going by my memmory and Im trying to explain to the owner on how to get me pics. Im trying to arrange for one of the next coming saturdays to go down and help him strip the car of the useable parts. I apologize this wont be real speedy but hopefully I can help the owner of the car get the parts sold and help you guys out with some reasonably priced parts. Lets keep our fingers crossed that this can go as smooth as it can and thanks in advance to everyone for their patients. No money will be accepted until the parts are off and ready to go just to keep everything on the up and up. I know it can get frustrating having paid for something and having no idea when the dang thing will show up. Big Al
Check the head sizes on those. Should be a 14mm head. I'll be attempting to get the old one out again today and I'll measure to see if either of those are the right ones. Thanks.
89PalermoSHP
its 14mm

Big Al
2 different pins for each caliper? Oh man hope I put them in the right holes on the other side. I'll have to pull that now and check it against the service manual... My zip is 23510 Yep just looked through the service manual and you have a lock pin and a guide pin. The one I have looks like it's the lock pin but it's in the guide pin's position. So the idiot couldn't even get the pins back in their proper spots... Go figure.
