Any reviews on Mookeeh's $1500 coilovers??

Here is my 2 year daily driven in New England review.

$1500 and there are no mounts for the brake lines. This has resulted in a few broken brake lines, which means you loose your brakes. Not fun. Both times I lost brakes due to one of the the rear lines hitting the rim.

But hey, the bright side is that they have lasted this long with New England conditions. They need to be taken apart every 3 months or so to make sure rust doesn't build up on the threads.

Any pics? Are you using stock brake lines? Ive got some 1 piece stainless lines that dont mount to the strut, and never had any kind of problems. Do the coil overs extend so much when unloaded?

I pay $1500 and he doesn't even have a mount for the brake lines!!! This has resulted in a few broken brake lines, which means you loose your brakes... Not fun, NOT SAFE. I can't believe this guy produces parts like this. He is selling a dangerous unsafe product with no testing at all!!!

So if you buy them, cut and re-weld the brake line mount to the new coil over. Or you could die.

hello Casey,

i am so sorry to hear about your brake line problems.

soon as i read this, i stopped everything else and started to work on the brackets for the brake lines and just finished right now.

front will have a ring holder with two extra locking perches and the rear will have brackets welded on the bottom brackets.

i will send them out to you asap and let all other member who purchased the kit know about this and send to them as well.

i also emailed you. please check.

once again i do apolozie for the inconvenience.

sincerely,

101

I'd run illuminas in the stock housings. I have 17x10's with 275's in the front and they fit pretty snug with coilovers w/ cut perch's and rolled fenders. and its not so much the width that hurts.. its the height of the wheel tire combo.

lol, thats interesting becuase i have 245/40/17s on 8.5s and i have only 1/2 inch of clearance on the inside. 245/45s were rubbing on the fender
