offalot Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 (edited) Well it makes me sick but I am getting rid of my last quest. this was the one I was making into my ultimate quest but now I am going a different direction. This thing has about 76000 miles on it, pretty much no rust. It is an 87 but the entire rear end was switched out to a stronger 88. Comes with an 88 5 speed. Also comes with pretty much everything you need to put it together minus the motor and alot of the interior i sold off because I didnt plan on putting much of an interior in it, although it does come with 87 seats, door cards and a perfect dash that I lightened to less then half the original weight. it has the 8 and 9" SHP wheels. Has a good sunroof comes with some extras but for another $150 I will include a ton (quite litteraly) of extra parts , including extra 5 speed, hatch, doors,hood and much more, probably a couple truck loads. I'm sure I won't get nearly what I have in it as far as time and money but thats how things go soemtimes. Alas I;m trying to eliminate extra cars I have not accumulate more. offalot Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 Hey Randy, I went through the harness and pulled all the wires that didnt have to do with the car doing what it needed to do., Such as the cruise control, the abs box, stuff like that. it was actually a pretty decent weight savings. I really need money more then anything, plus the amount of fabwork I would need is extensive enough to either I do it myself or go broke. i would like to see some pictures anyway just to admire good craftsmanship. In that last picture is that rust? Surface? or is it bubbling up? That is where the rocker section was dented up a little bit, just a little surface rust, but that is a small pannel that is not part of the body. hey offalot it's rockit off cr.com, sorry i haven't called you!! i'd like to come see the car and parts and work something out with you maybe:) Let me know. you got my number??
