Lives4Speed
anyone take delivery on this puppy yet? I'm dieing to get mine installed AFAIK they are still 'In the Works'. I have yet to receive any comms from them. If it is any reflection it took them 6 weeks to build mine last summer. I'll give them a call and see how they are progressing. Lives4Speed
To All, I received a call from Griffin today so I stopped by on my way home. (1st day back on light duty after surgery) They had my Radiator repaired (issues discussed on page 1) and told me that production of 30 plus Radiators was started. James (engineer) apologizes for the delay but wanted to be sure that they got ours right. When will they be completed & shipped? Good question that I do not have an answer for. As soon as I can get a definite date I will post it here. I'll post Pics of an Installed Griffin Radiator when that happens this weekend. Lives4Speed
Good News Bad News Good News The weather this past weekend was very pleasant outside to be working under my favorite shade tree. I tore my car down to install the 'Repaired' Griffin Rad. I set the rads side by side to change over the fans & sensors. The Fan's alignment on the mounting tabs is perfect. Bad News The Bungs for the Temp Sensors are the WRONG %&^$! Size. Now do I put my car back together and have to tear it down again later OR leave it down. The choice was easily made as I have a company car to drive. I'll be calling Griffin today to ensure the ones in production for our GB do not have this same defect. Here's a couple of Pics of the 'Repaired' Rad.1st Pic Mounting bracket moved for Top Tank clearance. Actually the whole sides were moved.2nd & 3rd Pics Mounting bungs for the fans. More to come. Stay tuned..... Casey_L
When you go back try to get a time frame for when they will be finished and then eventually at my front door. This is the last piece that will complete my car and it is getting warmer

bad2theBone
I saw this Griffin Aluminum Radiator from my buddy starion Parts, he is actually building his starion too. Anyways here is the pictures i took it real quick, this aluminum griffin radiator from this GP is actually the same one or my friends aluminum radiator is much bigger. There is another Friend using this same griffin aluminum radiator i think is 2.5 or 3 inch thick with aftermarket radiator fan on his running magna mpi starion. I was very impress looking this radiator very big and light too... sure this aluminum radiator works and it fits to the starion... just asking if its the same Dimension size from this GP Griffin Aluminum Radiator Custom Made. Anyone using this same similar Griffin Aluminum Radiator. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00743.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00744.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00745.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00746.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00747.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e254/tsiinitiald/starion/DSC00748.jpg
Casey_L
yeah a lot of people use that one, but the one for this GP is NOT that one. It is a custom made one that is a direct replacement for the stock radiator.

The griffin Aluminum radiator is custom made and you can still use the stock radiator fans.
