  1. I have done both my cars fog lights and have led replacements in one and i have lexan covers on both, i did use clear silicone and the 3m sealant and like with my cleared taillights i used the chrome paint after cleaning them up, removed the rust. especially on the taillights with more surface area i needed a smooth chrome replacement for the rusted reflectors. wet sanding and polishing with 1000 and 1500 grit on the glass surface took out the surface pits which is common on all the ones i have worked on. i like the heatguns as well but use with great patience and slowly as i have warped lens, not glass of course. i have run 55w bulbs since 91 and have never had any problems with the heat, now the wiring should be replaced and upgraded as it should everywhere in quests. then you can also do the mod to allow separation from the high low beam switch. i run additional fog lights on both my cars as well with headlight replacements so again better wiring and fusing is a must plus cleaning up and eliminating the fuseable links with modern wiring is much better. nice job. jeff
  2. put me down for 2 sets, i have one set but its locked by the ex along with my tools and rest of my parts.... time to get going again... email me when you need the bucks, jhall@sjm.com
  3. i need some as well can i still get in
  4. I talked to Otis who talked to Griffin as well, the modifications added some time but it is worth the wait. as the one who started this and then had to turn it over to otis for personal reasons I will apologize as this was out of all our controls. they're quality is great and the ones i have seen were drop in. my new act clutch was drop in until i wanted to disengage it! lets face it almost everything on our cars is custom to some extent. jeff
  5. you are going to love them, they are lower on my 87 than my STs on my 88. I will be interested in how you all do with oversized tires. i had to go back from 245s to 225s as i was rubbing when running hard which is the only way i drive. doesnt matter, those who have seen my blue 87 perform know how well it corners on the mountain roads. i had new struts as well. i am going to 17 inch rims so we'll see with that. jeff
  6. thats correct - it is from the 20th - they were very up front about the lead time. jeff

Steve, yours is in here for sending me yours for the second car so i am getting 2 thanks for all the prayers, Dad improves daily and i can only hope and pray for a close to complete recovery. i will start checking email consistently when i get home Sunday i will be offline and traveling the end of the week. Jeff
  11. i am in connecticut with my dad right now who had a stroke on christmas so this is my first back on a computer. i will be checking with griffin on tuesday when they reopen and get the order in and give you all an update. if i dont respond to email it is because i am dealing with doctors right now. i think he is stable right now and i can connect at the hospital jeff
  12. if i can get 4-6 people confirmed by friday i will go ahead and charge the order and get it started. my dad had a stroke on christmas morning so i am traveling to connecticut tomorrow early but i should be able to take care of all this while traveling. griffin is basically closed this week so next tuesday will be the order day. send me an email at jeffhalldvm@charter.net and i will send you a paypal request. include your full shipping information, user name and email. if you can not pay by paypal then it will delay things based on usps and only bank checks so no clearing time. i have one waiting at my shop but since i have to leave i will be unable to post pics but they are identical to ones up. regards, jeff

  14. this is to judge how much interest there is for Griffin Aluminum radiators, here is a chance to dramatically improve your cooling system without spending $500+. this is a drop in replacement. the one off price is in the high 300s and if we get ten the price drops a hundred. let me know or i will go ahead and just order my one, drop shipping is available. if the interest is there i will post the exact dollars. my engine is about ready so the odds ends are due. jeff hall 205 335 4222 birmingham, alabama jeffhalldvm@charter.net
