  1. "What's the deal? you can dish it out but can't take it?" He hands out nothing but insults via his pics in MY topic.....at first. I don't believe he has REAL music experience nor the experience with building enclosures. Are the enclosures VENTED......that I have'nt closed them off yet? Tomorrow I'll take the pics of the natural vents that somebody can descide if they want to close them off. And if you think it needs to be more DENSITY of the enclosures.........you can add as much FG, insulation or wood as you like. He got it back from all his insults from him. The mail is coming to me to tell him what an a** he is. Btw......your pics won't come up in your topic. I saw a pic of an Eclipse on the BS forum that coverd the entire rear hatch with some pretty cool looking FG......a bunch of speakers too.
  2. I'll share your opinions with burton about his topic. http://www.starquestclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26367 Justpaus & Burton knows a TON more info than you do.
  3. BS!!! He PMed or emailed me about your rude comments.....as usual. You're dummer than a box of rocks.
  4. You forgot #4.........you ain't BUILD JACK and love to post your SICK pics to insult people. I saw what you wrote about "phinko" too. You ATTACK members ALL THE TIME!!!
  5. I can do whatever I do.......whenever I do. You already said it "wasn't sealed". Ported or not.........the owner needs to make that decision. And you should see how many times it's been REVIEWED over the other topics.
  6. Who says it needs to be SEALED? YOU??? http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z10.jpg You have da BASS on da BRAIN!!!
  7. Maybe you should look thru BOTH manuals in my signature to EDUCATE yourself. And you insult people with your PICS....like here!! http://www.starquestclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46337
  8. You talk about "high-end" parts? Did you spend $485 for gauges? http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/CS-1.jpg
  9. I had the volume set at 25.....the "low pass" on when I turned it on. That bass was SO FRICKING DEEP..........and so FRICKING LOUD...... IT WAS SHAKEING THE WINDOWS!!!! Same as some IDIOT next to me at a stop light!!! And if you don't UNDERSTAND your own INSULTS by posting your pics of your TRASH FRIENDS.............you are an IDIOT. I noticed you FINANLLY changed your signature line on TOP of the other INSULTS you post. Scotty called me.......we understand each other and are now friends. Btw.......this was about LOW WEIGHT for SPEAKER ENCLOSURES. And WHO THE HECK has that kind of CUBIC FEET that I showed how LARGE you could build it? Even if you build the same shape outta 3/4" OSB/MDF..........it will STILL be lighter cause you won't use as much MATERIAL as building those huge a** BOXES. But again........you won't watch the TV programs. Let me see you build a DASH outta 3/4" MDF!! Did you see those speakers that was sent to me from a pal? FREEBIES!!! all I need to do is ASK becuse they know who I am. I will NOT install those 7.5 lbs speakers in my car. YOU can install 400lbs of stereo if you want. If I blow up a speaker.....I'll replace it with another one.....increase the wattage that it can handle it. But I doubt I'll blow them up. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z103.jpg I don't have problem using them in the Suburban.......but I don't want them in a PERFORMACE CAR!!
  10. WHAT ENCLOSURES? A head unit, XM unit & an amp. BFD! You don't want "ADVISE"......go figures. Your "advise".......calling JENSEN "high end"......... Pic after pic to hand out your INSULTS.....and what it says in the signature line. If you knew EVERYTHING about car stereo........who cares. Too bad you can't post the pics and comments in the MANUALS! If you won't delete your comments & pics......that you do to insult me.........
  11. Btw......if you think I don't know about amps......speakers.........enclosures, I have a Marshall JCM 900. My amps weighs about 80 lbs and the two 4x12" speaker cabinets ain't very light either. I've been playin instruments since I was a kid. Do you know what kind of guitar in that pic? http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/Me/M-6.jpg
  12. Your mirror are attached to the ROOF not the windshield......and that about talks about what you knew about my stereo system. You've never even heard it and you talk like trash. And since you have never ever BUILT ONE......ain't got any pics, you just talk more trash. I'm sitting on my MARSHALL AMP with a JCM 900 watts & 8- 12" speakers and you think you know more than me about amps......music etc? My Marshall amps weighs nearly 80 lbs!!! And that amp is a seperate part with TWO 4 speaker enclosures. And I'll bet you don't know anything about guitars either. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/Me/M-6.jpg
  13. That's not true. Besides....in Albuq, NM you'll get a ticket if the cops hear that BASS SO DEEP you bother other drivers. If I'm sitting next to another vehicle at a light and you are SHAKING MY CAR............. I'm gonna get away from this IDIOT as fast as I can.
  14. But it did. I thought it would need more FG and insulation. When selected "LP" (low pass) on the amp....it damn near blew the windows out. Dynamat......I've heard other people say it's expensive and don't work that good. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z18B.jpg That FG in the top right corner.......it is also used to hold down the STRINGERS (wood) that ENGINES are mounted to with ONE LAYER! No fastners to retain it to the hull  And if you look at the topic......you'll see some programs on TV that FG is used to make the enclosures ALL OVER a vehicle. Now.......I agree with whatever materials you want to build with. You can walk into Pep-Boys and buy the enclosures with the thick, HEAVY materials pretty cheap or build them. I guess what it comes to is how DEEP DA BASS is. Enough to give you a headache. My amp and the stereo has SO MANY WAYS to change the sound already it can ring your head.
  15. You have several differant topics in this manual. I would look thru a couple of them. http://forums.*DMperformance.com/viewtopic.php?t=589
  16. Sure. If you look at the fiberglass box and see the differant fabrics that are shown, if you feel the need....add another layer. Only use that tool for that CLOTH.........not on the RANDOM WOOVEN. It'll pull of the random. I thought it was gonna use 2 layers.......but it was pretty tuff with one layer. Add the 3/8" plywood to give it a solid area to attach the speakers.......... Paint brush......DO NOT STROKE THE FABRIC!!!! PUSH INTO THE FABRIC VERY FAST TO DRIVE OUT THE AIR BUBBLES. tap-tap-tap-tap-tap....very fast. It calls for 12 drops of hardner to ONE ONCE of resin.........slow it down to about 9-10 drops. One 4" long section across the corner........4 onces of resin. Btw....after you cut all the holes for speakers etc, make a little more resin to cover the exposed cardboard & all along the edges. It will stiffen up all the exposed cardboard. I did two applications.....let it cure once at a time. RESIN WILL BEGIN TO THICKEN IN ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES!!! If you are working a LARGE AREA....having a pal with brush comes in handy.

  19. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z18A.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z18B.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z19B.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z19C.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z19A.jpg
  20. Hey, Turborusty........would you take some pics of that high-end stereo stuff in your red car? PLEASE!
  21. I use the BOSE in my Porsche (the doors, factory Chevy Corvette x4) and the enclosures sitting on the back seat. 10 lbs each. I have twin 200 watts under the plywood on the passanger side under your feet. (I moved it rearward about 1" to make room for the amps) Radio Shack. Sounds damn good! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z108.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z109.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z107.jpg
  22. Go into "BEST" and look at the big --------------- sub woofers boxes. It's all plastic. Even with one coat on each side (w/fiberglass) the enclosure is pretty tuff. You can add more layers if you want. That 3/8" plywood is glued on with Dow High Viscosity, Betaseal U-418 HV quick cure urethane adhesive.......used to retain windshields. I'll show you some woofers that have a rubber cover around the mounting surface.
  23. I've got PLENTY of speakers to choose from. But.....I want to stick with the LIGHTER WEIGHTS FOR ME!!! Ignore the stupid remarks. You can pick ANY materials/shapes/WEIGHTS that you want. If you watch "Speed Channel" in the evenings....watch "Unique Whips". All custom stereo enclosures......and even CUSTOM DASHES with HUGE SPEAKERS in the dash!!!! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z25.jpg This sub woofer weighs 27 lbs. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z26-1.jpg This ones weigh 44.5 lbs. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z105.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z102.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d182/Professor-Quest123/STEREO/Z103.jpg This "gasket" is big ol' RUBBER! These are made in the USA. You can call them up and talk to them. Don't look "CHEAP" to me.
  24. If fiberglass was weak......you wouldn't build boats or wave runners out of it. I'll show you how to build it and you can SIT ON IT!
