bad2theBone
why the plenum is flat, :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: its better than square or circular shape. it looks like someone has seat on top of the plenum, that will give better performance or something like that. Chad
I hosted them on my crappy old geocites site, you have to cut/paste their addresses to the address bar on your PC, geociteis will not allow you to see them otherwise. Just right click to get the properties, copy/paste the addresses to your URL bar and go. I used the flat base so it can be a modular pelnum. Notice all high pressure cylinders are round? flat panels can baloon on you so I made it as round as I could, and still get adequate hood clearance. After I get it installed and tuned, I plan on making a larger ~ 4 liter model and doing a dyno test on them both. this one is ~200 cubic inches, or 3.2 liters. A modular plenum is a 5 miunte swap vs. replacing the entire intake manifold for a dyno test. A flat base also helps reduce turbulance under the runner bells. artinist
that this is NICE although its hard to tell how well those injector placements are going to work. hey chad, can you fix your post and just put the links instead of the picture so we can just click on it. this way its just going to go over the bandwidth limit every time and the pics don't work. Chad
After the exhaust goes though the frame rail and dumps down, it enters a low profile muffler (one I made) that just fits in the cavity between the fender and chassis, From there it bends under the car and transitions into a 2" x 5" oval tube that runs back under the side rocker panel, and finaly dumps exhaust out by the rear pass. tire. It actualy frees up a lot of ground clearance under the car, and seds a lot of weight (probably 30 pounds), those were the main objectives.
