Chads new intake

Recommended Posts

it will be interesting to see how it works. i am iffy about the injector placement. i think under boost the airflow is going to mix and mingle things in the plenum quite a bit and prevent the fuel from going into the port directly and end up having an uneven fuel mixture.

#1 will most likely run quit lean and #4 the richest.

That is why I am using sequential injection, I'll have the injector fired in-sync with the intake valve opening. so fuel will be drawn in and mixed as the air rushes into the individual runners/cylinders only while air is drawn into that individual runner/cyl.

Because I'm using such large injectors, the duty cycle (spray duration) will be vary narrow so it is unlikely to have any overlap, even at very high RMP/boost.

If I were using batch fire, your assement would be correct.

I'll be running 4 channel EGT's to monitor for such things too, only way to find out is to try it ....
