Distorted.Clarity
god that last one is almost the same damn thing as ours lol.. thats the look im trying to get *straight down* not our slant back junk. and at the bottom that little lip that comes out i want to have that but with a longer lip.. like ummm i think some race cars have them to give down force and shove air into the open areas
shift1313
why dont you make one that goes straight down and has a small lip and then add diffussers to it or splitters i think is what they call them. how about this? theres the splitter http://prozac.orcon.net.nz/frontangle.jpg and the bumper http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mark.stacey1/NEILPHILLPOTTS.jpg
Distorted.Clarity
i like the 2ed one but picture that with a longer part like that first one has but comming straight down from where the bumper comes out the furthest
heefner
I really like the second one in that last post. The only thing I would change is the size of the hole for the I/C.
shift1313
the first pic is a stock flatsider bumper with a diffuser added. the second pic, i wish i had a side pic of but from the looks of it, it goes out pretty far and i think it pushes the air to the IC but i agree a larger hole might be better. burge87conquest
If you are looking at porsche air dams, nothing beats the dam on the 88 944 turbo s http://www.xs4all.nl/~p944ts/

Gary
there is an airdam on coldspeed.com thats pretty nice. I also stumbled across this - for flattys also. Shift that was chubaccaTSI's custom airdam the downfall is he took out his front bumper support, personally I would not risk that on the streets. http://www.26liter.us/pics/starionflattyairdam1.jpg http://www.26liter.us/pics/starionflattyairdam2.jpg

shift1313
i dont like the turbo s air dam for a starquest.  it doesnt fit the car.  what was with the interior on that car:(,  looks like a clown puked hehe.  the 924 pics i linkes were because that front end is closer to the starquest imo then the 944s. nice pics brian,  and i dont like that red flatsider, i dont know it just doesnt go.  the red 924 though, mmmmmmmm  those links that i put where from the holbert racing catalog, im not sure if you can still get them but there are part numbers and everything. and gary, yeah i didnt like the whole thing. its hard when people try to smooth out the lines of a quest. if you are going to do that you need to go the whole nine and redo the whole front end then smooth out the fender flares and smooth out the rear bumper. Conquest351
Shift1313, Check out www.gt-racing.com for fiberglass & carbonfiber pieces. The 924/944 flared fenders are what I think I am gonna order and same for the LeMans style boxed rear fender flares. That's actually the look I have wanted for on my car since the beginning. The more & more I think about it, the more I think this car will hardly see the street. LOL When you go there, click on products or something to that effedt. Then click on the top listing for catalog. It'll take a while to DL even on dialup. Then save that biotch! LOL Scroll down till you see the 924/944 section. They offer the flush headlight kits for like $425 for the entire kit!! Laters, Brian
spoolinturbo
I beleive there was a reference to a starquest on ebay with a custom front bumper, that was my brother's, my cousin DJ did that..."pearlquest" now owns it. My cousin J is doing a very custom front bumper and it looks tight as hell. But theres not much I can say because I think he is leaving it all in the dark until its all completed. I beleive some of you may remember DJ lazarek with the full length 4" or maybe it was 5" probably 4" exhaust turbo back no cats. lol it was LOUD anywho. he is a master at fabrication and we will all see good things come from him, he is going to be doing some custom work to my quest. Gary
I saw a set of his hard pipes he used to sell. It didn't look like they where fabricated by a master. but its been 2 years maybe he's earned master status since then.
Technology
i think curvy airdams are out of place on conquests, and ones that come forward from the stock bumper make me barf. it makes the car look 3 feet too long. we need the front wheels as close to the front of the car as possible. think M3.
