I will post finished pics of the hood, and that is all. I will also make a modified lower spoiler for my car, and my car only. I will make modified fenders for my car, and my car only. If you are wondering why? ask the boards, I am tired of getting crap from everyone. I will full-fill what I said and will make 10 max for general sale and that is all. Prices are NOT garranteed to reamin at $325 anymore. As you can quess, any parts I decide to make from now on, will be for my car, unless I incur higher costs than I expect, then I will make a few extra and sell them. Unless you want to include hastle. This may have started with me posting my opinion of the looks and price of your "header", but I could care less about it now. I am making all the parts I want for my car and avoiding overpriced sellers like yourself. Your "cam gear" I will make on my own, but mine will be stainless steel ring, with polished aluminum "adjusting" mechanisim, and a stainless connecting hub to the cam. Cost? not even close to your $200. try 60-70 bucks and the time to put into making it. Your "header" of mixed metals... Mine all stainless. no mixed metals, and cost around 150 and the time to make. If people would have stuck to posting opinions of a product, maybe the levels of hate for people would have stayed low and you could have kept a potential supplier of parts here and active. I can see why no parts are made by any large companies will make any kind of runs for this group. There is too much hate for anyone that even tries. I came here saw what was being made, and posted my personal opinion of it. If you cannot take the critisim of others, maybe you should not make anything. The pics look far from finished (more than just gel coat or paint) But when sellers go banging on other sellers about extensive costs and such and then go and want to sell their stuff for just as much if not more - that's just WRONG Especially when it's a NEWBIE who has trash talked many people on the board who've been around for some time and are decent people and trustworthy. Speaking of trustworth - this is the guy who wanted to save th word - and now wants to soak us on hoods after talking trash about the 83 fiberglass hoods - I thought this hood was supposed to be "CARBON FIBER" continuing on TRUSTWORTHY - this guy's feed back is not very good on ebay. He won several auctions and didn't pay, provided useless information, tried to sell items he purchased for more than he purchased them AND claimed the items were originally his. If he is a nonpaying buyer - I'd be very concerned that he may also be a NON SENDING SELLER or JUNK SENDING SELLER - WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THOSE GUYS LATELY which the moderators tell us we will be hearing about. LET's BE CAUTIOUS WITH THIS SHADY CHARACTER: hoods multi port air dams exaust headers all available in just a couple of months...hmmmm - this sounds too big for quality work from one person. kellydaman, welderwiz, and others take their time with 1 product to make sure it's quality product. CHC, just don't bite off more than you can chew, hammer on others FINISHED PRODUCT, claim how you can make a far superior product and claim to do it for unreasonable amounts of money. You say the respected members on this board are charging inflated costs for their products, you have to be kidding. People have to cover their time, materials, shipping costs and the possibility of warrenty returns. You seem to think you can build things for 'X' amount of dollars 'plus your time'. Well the materials are one thing, but you need to feed your machines and the materials they consume, put food on your table and still have time to keep the 'ol lady happy with quality time. *DM has designed several products that are superior to the competition and inline with pricing or far less, everyone is happy. He could ask more and still sell them due to their quality, but he leaves the cost inline to help the community and give the end user options. You come on the forum and start throwing projects out in the air, I'm guessing to see what interest is in them? Thats great, the more the merrier, competition is great, it drives the price down and allows the end user more options to spend their hard earned dollars. You don't think that the members have heard a dozen or more times people coming onto the forums and claiming they are building this, or that, and it will cost half as much and be twice as good? It happens all the time, and the end verdict is it never transpires. Making a one off product is one thing, making production of it and keeping the costs down is another. You have the greedy attitude about keeping everything to yourself and how we're all after you. Maybe if you toned it down and didn't brag about how you are the master fabricater and can bring us all a half dozen superior projects to the market right now, you would be taken more seriously, I dunno. I'm sure everyone also appreciates the day to day updates on the hood, I think it looks nice as well, but I've found that if you build a finished product and test it and keep it under wraps and find out your costs and such that you will not have the problem you are having now, getting the attention with a low ball price and then inflating it slowly as you realize you have no profit margin or are losing money on materials. Everyone is allowed to make a buck or two for their hard work. I'll pick up one of your carbon fibre hoods for $300 btw, thats an amazing price. The other feed back was for a semi polished intercooler off my 87, that the guy somehowe wanted a better looking intercooler. I posted pics of the intercooler, which it had NO DAMAGE, 7 bent fins and was as stated before, semi polished.
