allen405
So, I as driving down the freeway and heard this really bad noise, I get off the road and notice my steering is really hard. I popped the hood and my pump is seized and my belt is missing. Found one at Autozone for $118.00 or is there a better deal else where? Or does someone have a good used one that doesn't leak for less?
Edde
Ought to be tons of them laying around in the parts bins of SQC mems. Lots also on the web, ebay, etc. Much cheaper. I'd wanna see inside a seized one

OPs pump locked up, wont help him with a kit. Same as using our stock pump on a saturn or 240sx rack, it will work.

allen405
No I didn't get any warning signs that I heard or felt it had fluid so I don't get it. I'm gonna see if I can get it apart and see what happen when I get it replaced

clow340
That happened to me once, i think its from overtightening the bolt several times. I had my pump off 5-6 times in a few months.
Edde
Yeah that would do it. So your pump is probably fine
