Scoobysruvenge
About a year ago jr. Went to work on the slumbering TSI Unfortunately he removed a bunch of stuff so he could screw up all of the exhaust and turbo nuts and bolts. Since he failed at this I guess he decided to buy a hood and the car ended up with the spray bomb paint job dude!
Scoobysruvenge
fortunately he put 99 ℅ of the stuff he removed in the hatch, there were even a few extras in there. So most everything to fix the car is there.
Scoobysruvenge
I started by testing the compression 129 to 130 on each cylinder and a clean leakdown test on each cylinder. With all of this good I went to work with a tortch and some broken stud and nut removal tool. I was able to remove all the hardware with little problem. Scoobysruvenge
Wanting to get it running right with all the factory stuff before I try to modify the car with exception of the 16g. My next task was to get the fuel tank strait.
Scoobysruvenge
So I pulled the tank. Fortunately it had a full tak of gas and a good power washed the inside. Once it was washed out It was very clean for a 26 year old tank. My bro then donated a Paxton filter and wLboro pump along with a few an fittings from projects past in his shop. Scoobysruvenge
I sand blasted the OEM brackets and made two others that would be needed for mounting the filter.
