Connerf5
So I have about 95 to 100 in every cylinder. What's spec? I know this is pretty good considering they're within 10% of each other
scott87star
That's a little on the low side but we don't know how you performed the test under what conditions with what kind of gauge. You are correct that being with 10% of each other is good. My cars are generally around 150 psi per jug, if you search on this site in other threads you'll see anywhere from 120-160. From my experience 100 psi is kind of the lower limit of getting a cylinder to fire but again, don't know how accurate your process was. The FSM lists the standard value at 142 psi with a limit of at least 113 psi to specifically answer your question.
Connerf5
I took out all the plugs. Unplugged the coil and turned the engine 4 revolutions with WOP. With just a rent ed kit from sutozone. At operating temperature
JAinsworth
You are supposed to press the accelerator to the floor to do this test. It adds about 10 psi to the reading. So 100 to 110 isn't that bad.Jimmy
importwarrior
Manual 9-15 the engine section. Per manual 142 psi fresh build. 7:1 compression. Minimum limit is 113psi Max difference between cylinders is 14 psi max
Funky Phil
If it runs good and doesnt eject the dipstick, move on to having fun! Gauges can read low/high bla bla. Could be rings, could be valves allowing the low numbers. If it runs good, press on!
Connerf5
Main concern is white smoke...car won't boost up. When I try to gas it, it just bogs

Connerf5
Not over heating. Not loosing coolant. Definitely have a leak going on from either the injectors or throttle body. Most likely the injectors.
