So I work at Michelin and long story short, we get tires for free....Michelin/BFGoodrich/Uniroyal...these are our brands...

I have 8/9s and obviously, 245/45/16 are scarce as I don't even see Michelin making these?

Is anyone running these brands and if so, what size?

I'm running 245/45 BFG comp ta on rear SHP's but don't think they make those anymore and BFG G-force 225/45 on front SHP's. Those had to be shipped here from Ohio or something about a year ago

So with my shp's, I'm looking to go with 255/50/16 and 225/50/16. Bf goodrich gforce comp2 look to be my best option.....

I know going up one size to a thicker wall isn't a big difference, but a 50 on front shouldn't run right? My car is at stock height. Not planning on lowering....

I'm getting tires soon. Had trouble finding the rears. But 205/55/16 front and 245/50/16 rears

Fronts are fairly common size . The rears are he more expensive and tricky size to find. You can get 225/50/16 anywhere.

But they won't look as good. Not wide enough imo.

Idk if you know this already. If so I apologize. I just done a little research calling different places past couple days.

Good luck

stock size wise, 205 on the 8 looks dumb, i know, as thats whats on my shp 8 right now

Oh true.. I got the 9s size on my rear 8s. 245/50/ since the 245/45 is so hard to find. 225/50 on the rear ..to me looks way skinny.

Just trying to help out .. Might have made it more confusing lol

Something to help you choose is to look up the rolling height of your choices. 225/50 - 16 is about 24.75" and while 245/50 - 16 is as close to original 245/45 - 16 to find, it throws off your speedometer by about 2.5 m.p.h. ie; 55 on the speedometer is actually 52.5-53 m.p.h. Just a little more info. to help you decide on tire sizes. W.

Well I just faxed my order.

BF Goodrich GForce COMP2

255/50/16-rear

225/50/16-front

It's nice getting $2k every 5yrs for tires...great benefit from the company

These are what I'm running as well (http://www.starquest...40#entry1442909)...look great with the car sitting on D2s.
