BC_99
Passenger side of the block below the oil filter. Rockauto should have a replacement. BC
TexasQuest
It's under the oil filter on the passenger side of the engine. OEM is highly recommended due to the aftermarket ones not working correctly and having the wrong thread type.
ucw458
Only reads high when cold? Oil pressure is higher when the engine is cold because the oil is thicker. Before suspecting the gauge you should put a real pressure gauge on the engine to see if the pressure is too high. Stock gauges only tell you that you have pressure. They are inaccurate. You can also adjust the needle on the gauge to read whatever you want. My point is, check out the system before buying a part. You may put the new part on and have the same issue. Don't waste your $. Always diagnose before buying.
pcristquester
^^^So absolutely true^^^ Put an oil pressure gage near where the oil filter is before doing anything else! It's a threaded plug with an allen wrench head similar to the one at the top hat of the throttle body. All of a sudden my dash oil gage was way lower than it used to be....yada yada yada...did a bunch of work and spent money and time hoping for something to work that didnt need to be done...put the gage on it and found oil pressure was totally fine.
