techboy
Yep last year. Mitsu corperate is saying they may continue w/ an "Evo" but it most likely won't utilize the Evo name and it won't be 4 cyl turbo - most likely to be a hybrid performance car of some sort. So, in translation - LAME.

TexasQuest
Nice car man, congrats. Hang on to that car, it will be valuable one day since it's considered the last "true" Evo.
AshyBone
^^^^I thought the evo 8/9's where considered the last "true" evo's. This was yhe over inflated family hauler/grocery getter.... Wit some balls..
TexasQuest
Technically they kinda are. The evo X is on the GEMA platform, shared with Dodge and Hyundai. Being the mitsu enthusiast I am, personally the last real evo was the 9 since it was still 4G63 powered, but I do have a respect for the X especially now that it is axed. mbruneaux
Very nice car, congrats. But wouldn't you rather put $30K into your TSi? Very nice, jealous.
techboy
9's are the Evo's to have if you want a "true" Evo, although I do like the styling of the X's. Just something tough looking about that front end coming at you. Anyway, I kinda keep tabs on Evo's F/S in my area and 9's typically sell for more than X's just b/c of the demand for a more modifiable platform. Interesting tid-bit IMO.
