Guest
Everyone has some sick cars. But I still fail to see any truly "tucked" Quests. I'm talking stretched tires that are literally tucked inside the fenders. Why is this? Is it just not possible with our cars? Who has the most slammed Quest? Weird question maybe, but I am curious. Peoplr have mentioned the mechanical physical limitations that prevent these from being crazy slammed. But I think more than anything, it's that most owners of these cars prefer functionality over the slammed craze. Personally speaking, I've had stupid slammed cars when I was younger. I learned those cars suck to drive and stuff seems to break quite often and the cars end up pretty trashed after. As for the StarQuest, I am actualy thinking about how I can raise it an inch or so over stock. Would to enjoy driving on dirt roads, almost rally like. That is so much more fun than parking hard at meets. Edited November 14, 2013 by louswheel01
CarlosFley
Inner wheel wells is the problem. I would have bagged my car by now but without alot of work, it just won't be that low. I'm looking into running bags on my D2's. I've bein as low as my rim/tire combo will let me, 17x9.5/245/45/17 & 17x11/275/45/17How can you run bags on a set of coilovers?

But I mean, I would love to get another Quest down the road that way I can slam one and race the other one. Sometimes you just want to show these Nissan kids what stance really is. Plus we can't even lie that both a slammed or a kick tail Quest(like Convette's) will both turn heads. I'd like to have the best of both worlds Edited November 14, 2013 by CarlosFley

patra_is_here
FYI front airdam being low does not equal low. low is frame rails and subframe.

Elkidmino
Hate to bump this from the dead, but I wanted to clarify that I didn't set the bags system up to go for laying frame because I would have had to cut out the inner fender wells to do so. I set it up so the car would still be driveable if one of the bags failed. If I did it again I would go with double convoluted bags over single and would tub the wheels wells to get it on the exhaust and front frame rails. Would have to do the MR2 coilover mod or D2's? to get it there. This is the car with no struts in it, just laid on the tires.http://26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10121/PIC-0478.jpg Gas tank is close to the next part to hit the groundhttp://26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10121/PIC-0483.jpg Edited September 22, 2014 by Elkidmino

Lol, I have D2's now, so I'm thinking I could do a bag-over-coil setup, and while I was swapping the fronts I did notice it's a very tight space In there and I was thinking double convoluted bags because I hear they allow you to go even lower. That look with only tires is kinda hot tho, too bad it's not drivable hahaha. Welcome back tho, and any feedback would be highly appreciated.
