I'll try and get some better pics of the whole joint, but here's my side as of last week. The room itself is ~2500sf (45'x55').

My 30' by 23' garage at home. Gas heater, insulated, 4 8' sections of lights, and wired up with a sub panel and multiple outlets along every wall. I pretty much don't have a use for extension cords now. I have a 10' 12' shed in the back which is where all the crap goes, i don't have much for shelfing in garage because i don't really need that much. Having that sink in there rocks too, no longer have to clean my hands in the kitchen sink and get grease splattering every where.

After i finished the floor:

Pulled the cars in for the first time:

Building 30" x 8' bench, i put a peg board up too, just no pic of that.

Man, all these shops with pretty floors... I wouldn't be able to handle it. My floor has globs of fiberglass resin, bondo, Por-15, etc... That's not even counting all the paint splatters that are everywhere.

Oh, and for some of you guys who are bummed because you have small spaces to work in.... Don't let that be a downer. Great cars can be built in any environment...

I started with this in MI....

Then we moved to TX and I had nothing, so the great outdoors was my shop

Then I scrounged some cash together and built a sketchy lean-to off the side of our house until I could get a proper shop put up.

It was really sucky to go from what I had in MI to having nothing down here, but it's all about making due with what you got, and that made it that much more rewarding when I did finally get the shop I have now.

Just keep spilling paint and such on the floor until its all covered and then clear it! WOOT! Custom floor finishing by Burtons Customs!

ROFL! That's not a bad idea.

I shoulda gotten into more details about its amenities. It has electric, a drain, central compressed air, and gas heat. I sure wish it had air conditioning and running water sometimes...

There's another 2nd section of the garage not shown, it's about 1/3 of the size of what you see now, and that's where my dad keeps our big boat in the winter.

That is the best part about these floors, nothing sticks to it (i haven't tried gobs of paint yet). Anything i spill i can just wipe up, i usually walk around in my socks.

It is chemical resist once it dries, when i was applying it i got some on my hands and i should have clean it off right away but it dried. I tried everything to clean it off. So i had blue/grey water proof hands for 2 weeks.

Whatever you do, don't drip gobs of paint on that stuff. Everything else may wipe up, but automotive paints will not... they will become part of the floor.
