Fanta Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 I'm going to end up rebarreling the Advans I have, and since that gives me the chance of changing the offset, which would you say would be the best offset for the Starion? ZacMan Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 What kind of look are you going for? I run 17x9.5's, and 17x9's both with -13 offset on my flatty. Required guard rolling. Crazy Quest Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 It all depends on the look you want but my set up is very nice looking with a slight stretch on the tires. I have no rubbing issues and just rolled my fenders properly. I'd have them changed to 17x10's all around and run Front offset +7 and run Rear -8 offset. I'd like them to be flushed with the fender if possible - I'll be dropping the car down on Eibach springs, unless you think those may be almost too low. I threw on a 25 mill spacer on the rear and added probably 8 mils worth of slip up front. D_Venable Posted October 19, 2013 Report Share Posted October 19, 2013 are you gonna use any camber plates too? that will change how low of an offset you run, and your tire choice is gonna be key too. 245/40 might only be able to fit with a +10 to +15 offset up front, but if you stretch a 225/45 you might be able to go down closer to 0. Assuming you have no camber adjustment. I have the 16x9's up front, with a 15mm spacer, for a combined -15 offset, and a 225/45r16 only rubs at full lock in the inner fender structure, since I'm fairly low on the front. And I'm running my camber maxed out at around -4° Out back, the same thing. you could easily fit -15 with the 245, or up to around -30 with a 225, but that'll rub like mad with the saggy rear that the Eibachs create. Is this a 17x9 0 offset and 17x10 0 offset? Then you you threw the spacers on it and they became 17x9 -8 and 17x10 -25? Or are those 18"s?
