Conquest 1988 Posted September 3, 2013 Report Share Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) I having hard time to start my 88 conquest I have 32 psi on the fuel line from the tank to the tb and have power to the new coil and to the plug and wire . The injector had been clean by rc injector I even have my ecu checked and they say nothing wrong with it and my knock box jump went I try to started. Sometime I can started the quest but once I have it running for couple mins and turn it off than it will not started again. I need help cause I'm try to get my quest smog I have a new head on it. Conquest 1988 Posted October 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2013 I need to replaced my head on my 88 quest it's crack, so I have Detroit gasket for my head that I'm going to put on. Do anybody have the torque spec on an arp head both and crankshaft bearing cap so I can reused. Where is the best place to buy a new head that will not hurt my pocket$$$$. Did anybody buy any head on eBay? I'm looking at Odessa cylinder head! I want some reference about this company. I'm hoping there will be good referral. Conquest 1988 Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2014 On a 88 quest the water pump is different from a86 so on the heater hose it should have one outlet instead of two outlet , on the water pump it have another nipple on top of the pump . Conquest 1988 Posted April 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) I have check everything in my quest and I even have power from the battery to my plug, sometime it will started at the first time and other time it will not started at alI I have 40 lbs fuel pressure.and I have gas in the tbs. I even try to change the ecu and the knock box to test it but it still have no solution to my problem. I need help cause I'm trying to get my quest back on the road, so I can smog. Thank you hope to get some information from other member. Can I used 225/55/16 on the front wheel ? Will it have any problem with the spring.
