Abs ac delete

To delete the a/c you will need the delete duct from a mighty max pickup. It replaces your a/c evaporator unit. I have a wirite up on how to do it if you need it.

To delete the ABS you'll need to either find or make a bypass line that goes from your proportion valve to the master cylinder. A few people have made steel braided units but I'm not sure if they're made anymore.

Here's what I used for an ABS delete:

One of these: http://www.summitrac...aer-fbpa0039-22

Two of these: http://www.summitrac...arts/fra-650307

Turns out 22" is more than enough; I think 19" would have worked fine, maybe even shorter. There are a lot of those pre-made 3AN brake hoses to choose from. Also, a 90-degree fitting on both ends might be handy.

Oh, and y'know, don't ever drive on a public road with one of those braided hoses on your car, since they're not DOT approved...

For the abs delete I used a 3/16 x 30 metric thread , japanese flare, steel line I got at Oreillys for 8$ has fittings on both ends you just need a line bender. I used a coat hanger to mock up a sample , then bent the brake line to match. Edited by aknorthstar

He is deleting the ABS. He can acquire a pulse generator from a non-ABS starquest and put it in its place. Really its not called a pulse generator on the non-ABS cars but I dont know its proper name.

In the pic of this post you can see what I am talking about. Here they are side by side.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. That would be a really thorough ABS delete. My point was that it doesn't do any harm to leave it there.

So go to the parts store and ask for 30" of brake line with eclipse fittings?

yup thats what i basically did.

just asked the guy for 30 inches of brake line for a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse.

pick any year eclipse. that is just so they get the thread patern-end fitings correct.
