NotStock88
Gato has been known for their performance items, especially their MPI intake for our g54b. I would actually give this a chance as it does not look to be made of cheapo mild steel.

kidjc
Some member on here recently received this setup for their birthday?/present, his Father purchased it for him, just remember the posts. Don't know about the exhaust mani, but believe he said the rest was 2-3K? I went on their website when I saw his post, but can't recall the actual costs. Doesn't appear to be anything but standup, & they have been around for a bit.

What size is the v-band for the WG and do they offer other WG flanges? Its stainless T4 and with a 44mm wastegate. and yes they do offer other waste gate flanges. StarquestRescue
What more info are you looking for?Looks nice. How long did it take for them to build it for you? What are your thoughts on the rear water port. I notice gato never drills it out. I am sure you could add a fitting. Those two j cars are always broke. G54b for the win. importwarrior
i believe you need to flow water out of the back of the head to help keep the rear pistons / head cool.if you dont they could cause problems to the rear of the engine and pistons causing them to run hot. skillz
i believe you need to flow water out of the back of the head to help keep the rear pistons / head cool.if you dont they could cause problems to the rear of the engine and pistons causing them to run hot. Can someone Verify that? I have seen setup where that is block off and the line going from the water pump is block off. What are the pros and cons about that? StarquestRescue
http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84987&hl= coolant flow&st=0 I think it's a good ideal to let some water out of the rear port.
wrngwae
i had a similar issue with my FIP Hurricane. they put the coolant temp sensor there at the areae in the intake. and since that intake looks like it needs an external thermosat too, i put a "T" in the sensor port and in the bottom of the external thermostat to keep constant flow. tied both lines i added to the return tube that runs along the back of the block. i know im recirculating hot coolant but its better than nothing. and, my thermostat only has one time where it gets over the temp of the thermostat and that is the firts star up, afteeer that i have a 3 deg sweep while logging. hope this helps. psu_Crash
I finally heard back from Gato Performance today. For a T3 flange and 2-bolt 38mm wastegate it's $875 and no discounts for a GP. Seems kind of steep, but if it will hold together it may be worth it
