Someone in Lakewood CO likes to steal center caps!!!!

Recommended Posts

So... I am checking my tires today and I notice someone came on my property and stole the driver rear wheel center cap. Not to mention they gouged the wheel prying the dang thing out. It was done to more than one wheel too but they obviously only successfully stole one. It was done recently past week or 2.

I frickin love my Starquest as do many people and it kills me that someone would come one my property and disrespect my pride and joy like that. Yeah the new center caps are like $10 plus shipping, not the end of the world. But...

Do I seriously need to glue the caps in????

I can only imagine that the person that did this is a member on here and all I can say to that person is that was a pathetic move and you are a loser. Stay off my property or I will become a serious hazard to your health!!

Can you feel me?

First off, Colorado is a beautiful state. Wished that I lived there to cruise those mountain roads with my Conquest. But I digress.

Could be just juvenile vandals trying to cause problems just for the hell of it. Either/Or, both cases would involve scum of the earth.

Fix: Garage or Attack Dog

Why the center caps though? Keying a car is so much faster and easier. No one is going to spend that much time on something they don't want.

Fix: Baseball bat or some brass knuckles

It was not a vandal. Had it been that they would have went to town on my paint. Thats what I would have done to crap on someones day had I be that low.

I think there is a few 240 owners in my area that might roll on Starquest wheels. Need to take a look at their rims and see if their center cap is chipped up and mismatched.

My car is in the garage now but they gouged the wheels and chipped up the center caps they did not get. fools...

I agree! I have a baseball bat next to my front door and in my garage now.

Some people have no brains or respect. All I can say is I take full advatage of the "make my day" law. If someone is dumb enough to break in my house... I will dump half a clip without a second thought. I will be more concerned with the stain you leave then anything. If anyone breaks in my house... That will be the last thing they ever do. I have no patience for scumbags or like.

After I get my fence and gate... These part snaggin beotches will have to work for their prize and they will also be officially trespassing.

I have many many guns. I have a Saiga 12 shotgun with a 20rd drum that could total a house in mere seconds.

I also have cameras but unfortunately at night time the resolution is a bit rough so its not much help. I would have loved to get a picture of the perpitrators face.

I am pretty sure its this 240sx obsessed guy down the street. He is shady and probably jealous. Now that my car is in the garage hopefully who ever was doing that burns out and disappears.

From now on my car does not spend another night outside. I would hate to lose it and wack some loser over some car parts. I take my cars very seriously as I am sure many other people do.

Yes, you absolutely need to kill someone because you got your hubcaps stolen. Stupid.

There's been a rash of WRX wheels being stolen in the Denver area. Maybe it's related, maybe it's Mabeline.

pay a couple bucks extra for good cameras.

My good cameras are 700 line wide dynamic range sensors with 2.8-12mm lens and 150' IR. To simplify that for those that don't understand, I can see at night about 100' out.

My other cameras are 420 line standard sensors with fixed 4.3mm lens and ~50' IR. The 700 line blow these away, but for the areas they are in they are great.

I also use a geovision capture card with the same software.

Tech, I've heard of someone in Elkhart stealing honda wheels, maybe it is this Maybeline you speak of? :o

If I had ambient city light, I wouldn't worry about IR, just a low lux, like .01, definately lower than 1, an ir cut filter is a plus though.

In which I would spend the extra on an IP based megapixel camera, maybe in the 3mp range. That would replace 2 of my cameras.

But, I live in the country with no real un-natural light, so IR is kind of important to me.

I don't have the cash to get a 3mp IR camera, that's like 4 bills, but worth the $. Non IR are around 200.

I just need to move the cameras closer to the ground level of the driveway of my house. They are kind of high as of now. My Samsung system has two regular cameras and two IR. It was $600 new so its not a crappy system by any means. 500GB HDD, ethernet...

its only a $10 cap but I had to vent about the issue. It was like someone pooed in my hot coffee.

This economy has people doing down right brash things. Too much time on their hands or something. I am ready for a change. Just not the socialist change NO-Bama wants us to adapt to...

Maybe its Maybeline... Maybe Romney
