sandmaster29 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 The power windows wouldn't roll down when I first purchased the car 2 months ago, the previous owner was convinced it must be the relay and gave me a new one. Just installed the new relay last Saturday, still no success. Are there any common issues with the power windows in the'88 models I can look for? Indiana Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 Using the wiring diagram, jumper the relay and they will work without the key. That will let you know where to look further. I cleaned my fuses and all the connections by the battary and my windows and locks worked again. The next day they stopes working.
