Our latest edition has longer strut stroke for a few more inches of hood lift, more force, and more dampening at the end of stroke... Pictures to come. $91 delivered. We made some struts with lower forces and shipped them out to customers, but we NEVER got any feedback if the force and dampening where ideal. Will it work? Yes. Is it perfectly smooth = who knows?? Worst case scenario, you would have to make sure the hood didn't raise up without your hand on it, otherwise the lift action may be a bit aggressive.
