So i got all the aluminum enough for 2 maybe three intakes for free :-).... i started doing the flange when i got home from work tonight. and will hopefully get more done tomorrow night after work. its not much yet its going to be a slow and steady project. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk299/rosengrant826/008.jpg

dmyers151
Those runners look awfully long dude, is the plenum gonna clear the strut towers and brake booster? Can you draw me up a dimensioned sketch of the flange and all the parts? I wanna make something up in CAD and tinker with dimensions.
rosengrant826
Yea it clears the booster and everything i had to take the studs out to get it on the heAd But it does clear when bolted on. the plenum is 4 inch the runners are 4.75 long. dmyers151
Gotcha. I'm gonna try and design something up quick with a bend in the runners. If you had a 45* bend in 'em it'd prolly clear much nicer and you wouldn't have to pull the studs to remove/replace the manifold. What's the diameter on the plenum and runners? What's the distance between between the runners on center? From the front to the first runner? Edited April 5, 2010 by dmyers151
